Increase the life of your chain and sprockets plus avoid performance-zapping grung build-up simply by using the KettenMax Chain Cleaning system on a regular basis. It only takes a few minutes!

Instructions for use:

Make sure your bike is secured on the center stand or some other safe means to raise the rear tire off the ground. Attach the Ketten Max Chain Cleaning System to the frame with the supplied string and hooks. Put your cleaning agent of choice in the supplied plastic bottle. If it is an aerosol-based cleaner, simply spray the cleaner into the bottle. You should only need 1/4-1/2" of liquid in the bottle. Afix the plastic bottle to the front hole using the tubing provided.

SLOWLY spin the rear tire counter clockwise. DO NOT USE THE ENGINE TO SPIN THE TIRE!! It should only take a half dozen rotations to clean your chain.

After cleaning, we suggest you wipe off any excess with an old rag. Then to lubricate, spray your lubricant of choice (not chain wax) into the rear hole using the appropriate adapter.

Within few minutes - and with hardly any effort - your chain is fit for another ride!

Are you hibernating your motorcycle?
In this case you should absolutely preserve your chain. After the last chain care, after greasing the chain, put the adapter on the on the lower screw part and put a good dose of lubricant onto the outer part of the chain - you´ll be surprised how good the condition of your chain will be in the spring.
