Simple Test for owners of a Honda Cruiser WITH STOCK HANDLEBARS:
Please perform the following test to ensure the proper fitment for your Honda. It will only take a few minutes and will save you return shipping costs if the incorrect style is ordered.
Overview: Honda essentially used two different stock handlebars styles for their cruiser line - handlebars with an internal bar weight and handlebas WITHOUT an internal bar weight. To cofirm which model you have, simply unscrew the endcap on the throttle grip and insert a probe into the hole in the stock grip.
If you ARE able to insert the probe more than 2", your handlebars do NOT contain an internal bar weight, and you need the EZ-CRUZ HTC-0.75 style.
If you are NOT able to insert the probe more than 2", your handlebars DO contain an internal bar weight, and you need the EZ-CRUZ HTC-0.80 style. If you have a 750 Shadow Aero, please contact us to discuss as the stock handlebars for this particular model requires a more extensive installation than other Honda cruisers.
Please note, this test does not apply to bikes with aftermarket handlebars. Please see our "Aftermarket Handlebars" page for your proper fitment.
Black Dog Cycle Works cannot be responsible for additional shipping charges for customers who order the incorrect application for their bike. If you have questions, please call us..
